Letter of
Commisioners

I hope all of you remain safe and healthy.

On behalf of the Board of Directors, allow me to begin this message by expressing my highest appreciation to the country of Indonesia and every colleague and partner I have worked closely with since 2017. I firmly believe that none of our achievements would have been possible without the support of this great country, rich in abundant resources and opportunities.

As the founder of Sonar Nusantara Utama, I have witnessed our core strengths in technology across various industries such as construction, mining, infrastructure, agriculture, and oil & gas, creating efficiency and flexibility for our customers. What we have accomplished today is a testament to years of resourcefulness and resilience, and I am extremely proud of the performance of every colleague who has helped shape Kantara Group into what it is today.

We have experienced tremendous growth and acquired many strategic and valuable assets to further enrich our portfolio, transforming them with the help of our competent and dedicated people, who consistently support the management in achieving its vision. These acquisitions have enabled us to expand into new business units, applications, and customer bases, while also delivering enhanced earnings that benefit our shareholders.

As we closed out 2021, we completed half a decade and embarked on a new journey for the coming years, which look brighter and even more promising. The COVID-19 pandemic dominated 2020-2021 and tested the resilience of our business model, giving us greater confidence and pride in our people and processes. This global event also compelled us to pause, review emerging trends, and prepare ourselves to build a future-ready organization.

Our people are the most important assets of the company. We value their contributions not merely as employees, but as partners who need to be nurtured. Technology has changed how companies and their employees function. With technologies evolving every day, we realize that the fast-paced, ever-changing digital world impacts our people and workplaces — not only today but in the future. Therefore, we constantly equip our people with new skills that increase their competitiveness and professional value. We are committed to focusing on human capital development, becoming the most desirable company that continuously grows and expands by utilizing technologies and natural resources for the benefit of all.

Today, when I reflect on the path we have traveled, I feel a sense of pride and confidence in our strong and diverse team, capable of handling any challenges under the leadership of the Commissioner. I would like to thank our customers, suppliers, and other partners for their continued faith in our capabilities and for helping us improve our processes and develop into a world-class company.
We express our gratitude to God and our appreciation to all our stakeholders for their commitment and contributions, which have made Kantara Group a better company in the past, present, and future. We also extend our appreciation to the management and our dedicated team of employees for their hard work and perseverance, making all our achievements possible. May we all be continually blessed with strength and success.

Best Regards,
I Made Nugraha Jaya Wardana
Commissioner
